About

This blog is born as a result of people like you and me who have done lesser deeds in the water. Unlike us there is a kid who loves to fish and will one day be a marine biologist. I dedicate this site to “kid.”

If you’re not “kid” please don’t feel left out. There is enough water information to go around. The ocean is ours to explore. I will use this blog to educate you and me about the things that affect the water we use everyday. Nothing is off limits. Specifically we will look at the Chesapeake Bay and what non-profits and individuals can do to protect it. We’ll ask why we need to protect it and constantly check ourselves to see if we are doing a good job. We’ll look at the secret treasures of the Chesapeake Bay that make it so valuable.

We won’t leave out how you can educate others in your community about water quality and how to protect our environment. Local science fairs in your region will be highlighted to keep us connected with what this generation and the next have in store for the future of water quality.

We usually only miss water when we’re out of kool-aid, soda or orange juice but this blog will have water on your mind till you’ll miss it before it goes down the drain. You may even look up marine biology.

This blog has been created as an educational exercise for my graduate coursework. Enjoy.
